"UNLESS" • 26 July 2004
The Lorax is my favorite Dr. Seuss book, telling the story of how a Thneed factory owned by the Once-ler destroyed all the Truffula trees, causing the Lorax and the animals around him to vacate their home for greener pastures. The Lorax leaves a small pile of rocks bearing the word "UNLESS," which the Once-ler doesn't understand until now.

Arnold J. Rimmer • 29 July 2004
Pedantic and self important Arnold J. Rimmer, Second Technician aboard the JMC mining ship Red Dwarf. Rimmer was killed by a radiation leak along with the rest of the crew only to be brought back as a hologram three million years later to torment Dave Lister, the only surviving crew member who was in stasis the entire time.
