We did not wind up watching Caprica after all. Charles, Carla, and Josh instead watched Don Juan DeMarco (dir. Jeremy Leven, 1994), Sunset Boulevard (dir. Billy Wilder, 1950), and Stargate (dir. Roland Emmerich, 1994). There was also a trip to Big Boy for dinner.

So, I guess we're doing movies today at 4:00. If interested, you know the drill.

Anyway, Caprica -- the prequel series to Battlestar Galactica -- begins airing on Syfy this Friday, beginning with an edited-down version of the pilot movie that came out on DVD last year. Regular episodes will begin next week, starting on the 29th.

Which means that Charles and I were talking about watching the Caprica pilot movie on Saturday if there's any interest. It's been nine months since we watched it last and it could be a good refresher for those wanting to watch the series as well as a reason to see it for those who haven't caught it yet. So that'll be this Saturday, if people like, with other movie options available.
