Dan, Charles, and I watched a movie today. It was Izo (dir. Takashi Miike, 2004). Charles is now and again officially banned from movies.

Like Sukiyaki Western Django way back in December, Izo was a Miike film. Like Sukiyaki Western Django way back in December, I just felt stupid-headed afterward.

Izo is about a time-traveling murder ghost who ... time travels and kills a lot of people and is also dead. But has to be killed again? I think Charles gives the movie too much credit.

In any case, we wrote some haikus about the film. This may become a standard routine on movie days.






Dan was so mind-numbed that he miscounted the syllables. I was so mind-numbed that I mispelled the movie's title. Charles seemed to do just fine.
