Today was mind-blowingly fantastic outside, what with it being all sixty degrees at the end of December. For that reason, Dan's idea for an out-of-doors excursion was a brilliant one indeed so he, Charles, Katie, and I got some frisbee throwing in (hindered by the wind and my inability to throw a frisbee) and a fair bit of romping on swings and playground equipment. We called off the outside activities when the weather began to turn dark and rainy.

We did get some movies in though! We watched Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog (dir. Joss Whedon, 2008, USA), Cemetery Man (dir. Michele Soavi, 1994, Italy), and The Producers (dir. Mel Brooks, 1968, USA).

Cemetery Man was maybe a loss but the other two more than made up for it. I also really hurt my back, so that's no good. No good at all.

I also think I will be assembling a chart of which genres everybody prefers, so I can better chose movies based on who's coming each weekend. For example, tonight I learned that Katie dislikes silent films. Other than shattering my heart, this would have been good to know before bringing a silent movie down tonight. Now I am the wiser for it, and think a sort of tally chart would be a handy thing to have.

Hi there, I hope everybody had a decent Christmas. Now it's back to business as usual as we wind down the year with a final random movie outing to offer:

Tomorrow, Saturday the 27th at 4:00, just a random get-together sort've thing like we've been doing all along. Nothing special, no theme, just a reason to watch movies and eat junk food. Maybe even a chance to see what movies, if any, people got for Christmas! Doesn't that sound fun!
