Today we had Pre-Halloween Horror Film Day, though only Charles showed up. Dan made a brief appearance late in the game but didn't stay long. In all we watched In the Mouth of Madness (1995), Videodrome (1983), Nosferatu (1922), Re-Animator (1985), and Event Horizon (1997) over the course of ten hours. In short, a very productive day bookended by Sam Neill flicks.

Speaking of Sam Neill, Charles has been placed on probation owing to a series of increasingly bad puns based on Mister Neill's name. We might also be starting a website about cars that Sam Neill uses in his movies.

Next weekend is Jeff&Erin's Pre-Baby Shindig Thing, but the weekends after that are open for random movie days.

The next big scheduled event is the second annual Jurassic Park Six-Foot Turkey Day Marathon on Saturday, November 29. Stay tuned for details.

HOW: You come over to watch movies

Anyone who's coming should feel free to bring a couple of movies they'd like to watch. The movies can be anything from die-hard horror flicks to suspense thrillers. Doesn't matter, so long as they fit the creepy seasonal theme. After all, I'd hate for people to be stuck choosing between mine and Charles' picks.

We're not doing costumes but I may mandate Saturday as Autumn Hat Day.
