Despite a good start back in August, the Battlestar Galactica Original Series Marathon has been placed on an indeterminate hold until it can be rescheduled. This may delay the marathon until first quarter 2009 at the earliest.

The Cylons were not created by man.

They still rebelled.

They didn't evolve.

And they did have a plan.


Launching today.

Alas, we're kind of killing time until the kids to get back from Europe. They may, potentially possibly maybe, get back next Wednesday I think. I may be wrong, but I thought it was the 6th that they return. Anyway, we may begin the Battlestar Galactica Original Series Marathon the next day, Thursday the 7th, by watching the three-hour movie pilot. After that we may shift the day. Essentially I'd like to get as much of TOS finished as possible before school starts.

The Original Series marathon. We'll be headin' back to the good ship Galactica to watch the original 1978 television series with Lorne Greene, Richard Hatch, and Dirk Benedict. It's like Star Wars and Star Trek getting it on and the lovechild somehow bears traits from Lost in Space. There is a handful of really good episodes and a handful of terribly bad episodes. Everything in between is watchable, but nowhere on par with the caliber of the new series that we just wrapped up.
