There's a reason why I don't write fiction, and these three stories from junior high are part of that reason. Written in 1995, Jimmy Joe and the BOX, The Story of SOMETHING, and I Don't Get It made the rounds in my friend group and owed more to their "you had to be there" quality than to their actual literary merit.
