The clock began ticking when the frog was picked up from the Armory on Secor Road on 8 May 2001. By the time construction was actually able to begin, it was 11 May. The first step was sanding down the fiberglass frog to smooth out bumps and knicks. The first tile was laid 14 May, with construction on the eyes. I took the first picture showing the progress on the 15th, so I apologize for missing the first couple days. But believe me. You didn't miss much.
