Star Wars' Thirtieth Anniversary
Friday 25 May 2007

The Star Wars saga turned the big three-oh on 25 May 2007. It had been three decades since the first movie opened in theaters and in commemoration of this momentous event a number of us got together to watch the one, true trilogy, in its unadulterated, theatrical form. We watched A New Hope, The Empire Strikes Back, and Return of the Jedi over the course of the evening. The remnants of us stuck around until five in the morning watching Animaniacs, so it was a good night.

Attendees: Josh Gulch, Charles Meyer, James Malcolm, Paul Arquette, Dan Norton, Felicity Powers, and Scott Cook.

James and Paul in the break between Episodes IV and V. James is drinking water while Paul text messages, thus affirming my stereotypes of them.
